On “Loose Connection” scenario, after fixing the door manually at Polegate, as I walk back to the driver’s cab the train starts to go backwards by itself. You can’t enter the driver’s cab to stop it. Scenario over! Any suggestions? Thanks.
I played this one last night. Just as you get going, the game says "Hey, you gotta get out & check the doors!". So, I pop up & head out, BUT I almost for got to put the train back to B1.. I think your issue may be that the brakes weren't on.
As Bkulesza says, you didn’t secure your train correctly. As soon as interlock was achieved when you closed the faulty door, the brakes released and as there was an uphill gradient, the train rolled backwards. Normally whenever you are stopped whether at station or signal, the following should be done: 1. Power Brake Controller (PBC) into step 3 (full service) 2. Put reverser switch into neutral 3. Set DRA if appropriate (e.g standing at red signal) 4. Then release doors as appropriate Additionally, if you are leaving the cab for any reason such as going to the toilet or like in this case fault finding, the cab should be secured as follows: 1. PBC into Emergency 2. Emergency plunger depressed 3. Reverser switch into neutral 4. DRA set 5. Cab door, internal and external, should be closed and locked You can do the above if you want to add a bit of realism into the game otherwise play the game any way you enjoy
