Hello there, as written in the baby bullet- thread I've been able make a screenshot of the following issue: As you can see the water between Bayshore and South San Francisco is not displayed. Although this is an issue since the release of the route and happens everytime when passing by I'm trying to put together as much information as possible: Platform: Xbox One (not S or X), TSW installed on a 2 TB external SSD storage Updates: all installed so far, both console and game Service: timetable Mode #366 Weather: Summer with custom cloud and wind Settings I hope this helps. I had no luck in searching for a workaround yet - but it would be great if I missed something Cheers
And I always thought this would cause an increasing sea level I remember back in the good old MSTS days there was a toggle in the route editor for each tile to switch the water on and off. Although the result would look pretty much the same I doubt it's that easy in UE4...
LOL - oh, of course - that's meant to be sea....!!!!? LOL - geography was never my strong point... ;-) ...in that case it's a bug, or a performance issue, neither of which I would expect to see in a game that has been as thoroughly tested as TSW...., but there's a first time for everything, I suppose.... ;-O
i thought it was a boggy area so some water should be there i presume. at least they could of put some birds on there or sheep, cows it just looks so bare
It’s called Brisbane Lagoon but as you can see, it’s got lovely blue water in it. This was one of the first things I noticed when Peninsula Corridor came out, I did raise the question why it was missed out or forgotten but as usual with DTG, they only respond to what they want to. TrainSim-Matt
Aha...! So if the 101 Freeway is built in the way it appears....sealing off the lagoon.. then it could dry up, after all.... assuming that the sea doesn't then rise so much that it spills back in over the Freeway.... I, for one, welcome Climate Change. It will give all those people that have never had the cash to buy a sea-front home the opportunity to live right next to the sea..... ....and I think that certain underwater golf courses in Florida would be a fun place to spend the weekend.... ;-O
At least on PC it should be there, I remember this preview picture: Performance issues also came to my mind, which is why I posted my specs (at least what differs from 'regular' xbox). But nearly every other performance issue which I'm experiencing kind of solves itself after a few seconds, e.g. missing assets due to loading issues (GWE) or a freeze because of a spawning AI train (ECW). But credit where it's due- those issues have been drastically decreased over time because of the updates. I like playing FIFA too and can only wish its annual updates would contain so much actual improvements...
Unfortunately in TSW that’s what it looks like, very poor to miss it out, I’d love to know the reason why.
I'm wondering - if this has been missed out - is it even possible to add the water afterwards? So far as I read about UE4 surely has its limitations in editing existing content which prevents the expansion of existing routes. If the water is a missing asset, could it be that it can't be added at all? Peninsular Corridor is one of my favorite routes even with this local drought but I would find it nice to know if this form of climate change is permanentely.
Hopefully the tide will come back in after tomorrow with a update when the next new route is installed.
Is it possible to dry the area out by lowering graphic settings? If so, the water 'asset' (or however its implemented) may just need a different specification there... for being visible despite all ingame graphic settings for example.
What we should all do is enter the screenshot contests every time with the train next to the blue lagoon and eventually shame them maybe into fining that too, but I want my class 47 before you get your water lol!
