Journey M39621-01 With Gp38 And Lightning Strikes

i have just done this service and had lightning stikes all the way from Oakville to Aldershot.
i dont know if this is correct that DTG are trying to introduce lightning into the game but i must admit it is cool.
whether this is another bug or i have a dodgy copy i downloaded im not sure and i wonder if anyone else has come across this service with lightning strikes. the day looks like a warm and humid type of day and i know lightning strikes can occur.

 

I ran this now. I ‘think’ it’s lightning as you say. Wonder how we pick this when we choose our own weather. As you say, it’s pretty cool. I have recorded it and will upload to YouTube in the morning. I’ll put a link in this thread. Good spot Dave Mel

 

thanks Tintin i wonder why DTG never mentioned this after all they usually show us in preorder streams new things thats happening. and i wonder if it is a bug

 

Possibly a bug, we can ask them. I heard no thunder with it. Make sure you wear your rubber soled shoes next time you run it

Sure looks like it's supposed to be lightning, too bad there is no thunder. Does this happen at night?

 

Just this one service so far. Not sure though that it is meant to be lightning as you can’t directly choose this weather in the menu

 

It's quite weird isn't it? The sun's out, it's not raining and there's no thunder. Could it be work in progress that's got released before completion? Looks quite promising though if it is intended to be lightning.

 

It's just missing the delayed CRACK & fallen tree on track!
