I was doing the 17:37 service with the mp36 on peninsula corridor and I was supposed to stop at Millbrae at 18:02 but I arrived at 17:54. (I didn't go full speed and ignore speed limits, I just drove normally) Why is the timetable so late?
Yeah, I had that too. I just figured timetables sometimes have extended stops to allow for other train movements in the area, and Millbrae seems like a fairly major station on the route. Nice chance to grab a coffee! I did also notice on the Scenario where it says there's engineering work and you need to "try and keep to the timetable", I got in on time with no problem at all!
Yes, see my post about it here, it really messes up the times of another train too. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/baby-bullet-dlc-timetable-mess.20642/#post-115982
I did that, if it's the activity you're thinking of. Since I like to play realistically, with the Alerter on, I put the reverser in Neutral with full brakes applied, dimmed the headlights and went for one. I had a 10-15 minute wait. Why not?
In the second half of this service the times are very close. At Milbrae station bar there is a very nice girl, she's name is Jenny, 10 mins are ideal to offer a drink to someone
I think it must be a problem with the timetable, that amount of time difference should not occur. I have done a few services on that line with this loco (although not the 17:37 one yet) and I haven't encountered any problems so far. I guess there are some services that are not perfectly aligned with the rest. That said, I'd rather wait at a station than not be able to complete a service due to being too late.
