Any chance TS2020 will be added to GeForce Now? I own quite a bit of TS content, but my desktop really isn't up to it anymore in terms of framerate/graphics. I also play ETS2 and ATS, and have had pretty good results with them on GeFN. Don't really do much other PC gaming, so not looking to upgrade my hardware. I play TSW on Xbox but also not gonna rebuy all that on PC.
I have those truck sims too & they are a lot easier on frame rates. I can run them on 100 with the occasional dip to 80 vs 60 with the occasional dip to 30 on this.
I see a problem if TS2020 came to Geforce I would think it would be the default items from DTG People might have to purchase the same items they have already bought. And it would be like playing TSW where you have a fixed amount of stock to run just over the default routes. With TS2020 on your computer you can run what you want, where you want..
Good point. I figured mods would be out, but i guess 3rd party DLC might not work either. I assume anything sold via DTG would be fine though. There would be no repurchasing, though- that's not how GeFN works (unlike Stadia you don't buy content directly from them).
Items sold via DTG are installed using Steam It would only work like TSW using the default DTG Stock and Scenarios and would be boring - like TSW
No point putting a program written on DX9 on a system like that, wouldn't run efficiently and might even mess up their end This is why frame rates are so poor, because it's relying on a single core of the CPU to do a lot of the processing before it can send it to the GPU, so you can have a fantastic set up, but because multi core processors tend to have lots of slower cores rather than faster ones, it becomes a bottle neck, all down to the old version of DX still running the engine of the game
ARuscoe Interesting, and that totally makes sense. I thought there was a DX11 version of TS2020 now, but honestly it's been a long time since i've booted it up. Like i said i mostly play TSW on Xbox.
The requirements still list DX9 last time I checked so even if components also need DX11, they still need DX9 in the core
