    Hi everyone,
So I recently purchased TS2020. I have completed just the diesel part of the academy as I don't want to get confused with all the other locomotives/controls etc.
So... what next? I head for career but find it difficult to navigate. Can't you filter by difficulty?
On the academy, it's two diesel trains (SD70MAC/Fowler 4F) but when you then click on diesel trains on the career, they are different set ups. I cannot find the ones I have got used to in the academy.
Would you recommend I just spend AGES doing all the academy scenarios for every train (DMU/steam/electric?)
    I'd appreciated any advice. Thanks

You should use Quick Drive to get a feel for the trains and routes. You'll soon find your preferences.
I wouldn't recommend doing all the Academy stuff.

So I tried what you said but found it difficult as I didn't know what to do with all the controls you see! I ended up in one from Koln to Koblenz - didn't know how to let passengers on or off. Tutorial is needed!

You'll find manuals in the Railworks folder. On your desktop go to; C Drive\Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steam Apps\Common\Railworks\Manuals\EN for English manuals.

Thanks Cat - I don't want it to be a game I buy and then never play you see.

It is a simulator and to some extent simulates real train driving, so it takes time to get used to how trains and routes work. The best way to start is in Quick Drive and use the keyboard F4 HUD when driving. Just experiment to start off and don't expect to be an expert in an hour.
