I think this route would be nice but I never saw Br425 and Br 182 on this route as RE they could bring the Br 143 for the S68 with X-Wagen but I don’t think the BR425 was used as RE or S-Bahn
Some thoughts: This route could be interesting to finally put there some InterCity services action. Also with the stock we already have, the posibilities for RE and Sbahn services are awesome. Its 40 mi / 65 km long, which is quite longer than the last german routes. We already have Duisburg Hbf made, so its a good start. Of course there are very large terminals to make as Koln Hbf, the bridge, and Koln Messe... with a dense city to recreate. Dusseldorf Hbf is a very large station too. 31 stations in total in this route. (including the airport branch) Its a little more work than the last 2 german routes? Yes, but maybe they could leave aside the airport branch and change S bahn service for another one.
