The Class is 158 also known as a sprinter. They are (and Class 159s) used by quite a few companies around the country including South Western Railway primarily on the London Waterloo to Salisbury, Yeovil, Bristol and Exeter services. There is also a Class 159 which is almost identical to the 158s apart from the 159s have 3 coaches instead of 2 as well as Selective Door opening (SDO) for the guard. GWR, TFW and ScotRail also use sprinters.

For your information, the class of train is usually listed at the front or near the front (such as the side) of the train. In this case, as you can see in the picture, the class number is displayed right at the front just below the windscreen. The first 3 numbers display the class so it is a Class 158. And the last 3 numbers display the unit number so this is unit 845.
If it is a locomotive then the first 2 numbers will display class and last 3 numbers will display the unit numbers. E.g. 43185 is Class 43 (HST), power car number 185.
