PlayStation Peninsula Corridor - Caltrain Mp15dc Diesel Switcher - Cutting The Cars

Hi Guys,
Hope you can shed some info my way here. I have just started doing Cutting the Cars with the Caltrain MP15DC Diesel Switcher, now not sure if it's me or the game, but do I have to get out or use map view to change the points? I have contacted the signaler with no response or is normal in the states you have to change manually

 

yep change the points yourself when your in the yard.
