WOW! An amazing long look at how Rivet games made the 204. Plus gameplay towards the end! The addition they added with seat adjustment being able to move your seat forward and backward and up and down is by far one of the coolest little additions. I am so happy to have Rivet games working on TSW content as I believe the two (DTG-Rivet) will come up with some amazing ideas together!
Amazing, thank you. I was curious about Rivet games and excited about their new content for TSW. Yesterday I watched an older stream by Dovetail introducing Rivet games to TS2020. I'm looking forward to watching this now!
When I was a child, a short freight train passed the house twice a day. We always sneaked to the railway embankment to see the train up close. It was also the locomotive that served numerous branch lines and was omnipresent in rail operations. My wish has always been to become a train driver! Guess which locomotive that was?
Very glad that we're getting a German shunter on MSB. Looks great and all. Be fun exploring the docks. Very dissappointed though that there's only 7 services. Add the 3 scenarios, and that'll be 10 things to do for 14 EUR. That's not a lot of bang for your buck. Hope that the 204 will get implemented on other German routes so that it justifies the price tag.
yeah im disappointed with journey and services. i think it was 11 journeys and 7 services. but those 7 services are part of the journey as well. it looks good but im thinking im going to wait for the sales to come along. i dont think its worth paying full price for it.
I would consider what the locomotive is for 3 scenarios and 7 services seems like the right amount of content and the quality is there. Considering this is the first third party content for TSW, Rivet game’s has to start somewhere. I support this dlc 100% not just for the DB 204 but because I am behind them having the support of making a full route in the future.
it's a fantastic model, but sadly the quality of it doesn't matter much if there's nothing you can do with it
As it’s a German diesel shunter, I believe it does what we would expect it to do. I wasn’t planning on driving the main line or anything. In my opinion I will get way more then my $20 worth of joy from this add on.
It's near the entrance when you walk through the door. BEEP! Loving this shunter so far! Well done Rivet!
Since this locomotive also operated passenger cars on branch lines, it would be great if it also got a "vintage tour" so that you could drive the entire route. However, there is probably a lack of suitable passenger cars here.
