    Overview
Saint-Jérôme (also designated exo2) is a commuter railway line in Greater Montreal, Quebec. It is operated by Exo/RMT, the organization that operates public transport services across the region.

The Saint-Jérôme line was operated by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) between 1882 and 1981. The line was not active until Exo's predecessor agency, the Agence Métropolitaine de transport (AMT), resumed passenger service in 1997.

The line links the Lucien l'Allier station in Downtown Montreal with Saint-Jerome, on Montreal's North Shore via the island of Laval totaling 62.8kms covered in about 1hour 20minutes across 13 stations. With daily ridership of 14,200, the line offers service on weekdays with limited service to and from de la Concorde Metro on weekends. The frequency of service is 25–45 minutes during rush hour and every two hours outside of rush hour, of which five trips continue to or begin at Lucien-l'Allier station. All other trips begin or end at Parc Metro station.

    Why this route?
This route perhaps best encapsulates the essence of Montreal better than any other with plenty of iconic landmarks along the way: Mirabel airport, crossing Riviere-des-Prairies onto the island of Montreal, Jarry Park and Montreal’s famous Little Italy, the world-renowned Saint Joseph’s Oratory, the revamped Vendome station on the site of the new Montreal Children’s Hospital, the decrepit sky high concrete tentacles that make-up the infamous Turcotte interchange, all ending at the Bell Center in downtown Montreal, home of the Montreal Canadiens.

Stations of Note (southbound Saint-Jerome -> Lucien l’Allier)

The simple but easily recognizable design of the station makes it stand-out. A relatively quaint starting point. Mirabel International Airport, the second major airport in the Greater Montreal Area after Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Dorval, can be seen shortly before arriving at the next station, Blainville.

    Gare de la Concorde (Laval)
    [IMG] [IMG]
The final stop on the island of Laval, Gare de la Concorde is an important juncture in linking commuters from Laval and Montreal. With a connection to the Orange Line of the Metro system, the stop was commissioned in 2007 as part of major reorganizing of transit between Montreal and Laval. At night the station is lit up beautifully.

    Gare Parc (Park Extension, Montreal)
Also known as Park Avenue station and formerly Jean-Talon station is a historic railway station building in Montreal. Currently the western end houses the Montreal Metro's Parc station, while businesses occupy the rest of the building. The CPR built the Park Avenue station, which opened in 1931.
Situated within an earshot of Jarry Park, IGA Tennis Stadium, and Montreal’s renowned Little Italy.

    Montreal-Ouest (Montreal West)
Opened in 1889, this is where it begins to feel denser as two other Montreal Exo lines, Vaudreuil-Hudson and Candiac, converge with the Saint-Jerome line. The station resembles a lot of stations along the aforementioned routes which were opened and conceived around this time (see Valois train station).

Here is a video of where the lines meet with various Exo/RMT trains rolling through:

Of note on the way in to Montreal-Ouest station is the world-famous St. Joseph’s Oratory (off in the distance), as well as a potential yard and depot for the DLC: Lachine Maintenance Center opened in 2015.

    Vendome

A formerly beat-up area has undergone an enormous facelift of late, with the addition of the new and colourful Montreal Children’s Hospital adjacent to the station. Vendome also serves two other Exo lines, as well as the Orange line of the Montreal Metro.

    Lucien l’Allier (Downtown Montreal)

Smack dab in the heart of one of North America’s oldest and most cosmopolitan cities, we arrive at this major transit hub. The commuter lines connecting passengers from the North, West and South of the Greater Montreal area all end here.

Located on the site of the Bell Center which houses the city’s pride and joy, the Montreal Canadiens. Also, only a short distance from the breathtaking Old Port of Montreal (possible route extension for freight?).

This would definitely be a great country to have in the game I would definitely like to drive this commuter rail line sometime in the future.

Yes I totally agree. More commuter action is a must in TSW, especially the addition of a F59PH/PHI and ALP-45DP in TSW, which opens up for a GO dlc in the future;)

The Montreal transit agency purchased the F59PH's second-hand from....GO Transit. GO also utilizes the BiLevel Cab so with licensing and liveries, this would span 3 DLCs. Win, win win.
