Now if they make it 30-40 miles it might be Manchester to Liverpool in the class 185 Transpennine express livery. Or the class 150/2 and class 319 and northern connect livery. Maybe if they make it 40-50 it could be Brighton Main Line (if we are lucky). Or it could be West Coastway to Portsmouth Harbour which is 45miles. Well whatever it might be I hope it will be enjoyable.
I'd like to see something that hasn't been done before in either sim. So I would propose the Highland Mainline; Pitlochry-Aviemore (or similar). The current HST and 66 models could be re-used. I'd like to see one of the class 158 or 170 brought into the game, these are found all over the network so could be used later on on other routes. The existing class 37's, 47's and 08's could also feature either historically or on railtours. Class 47's still occasionally work the line on the sleeper too. Authentic sound recordings already exist in game for many of these locomotives from someone who DTG have an existing relationship with, so they should be good models. The main attraction though would be introducing TSW's first sleeper train though featuring double class 73's on each train. Hopefully Caledonian Sleeper would be up for this as it would be a good way for them to advertise and show-off their new trains! If CS don't give licenses then it could be set in a different era with class 37/47/67 instead. This route could also allow the Strathspey heritage railway to feature in the future too.
