Already proven that DTG has a healthy relationship with Armstrong Powerhouse. (with many sounds being sampled in the class 31 and class 377.) Why not release enhancement packs for the locomotives in the simulator? Admittedly some loco’s drive fantastically - but the sounds aren’t quite there yet. For example - the class 66 horn. It sounds more like a 66/9, which DBC don’t have in there fleet. With an enhancement or sound pack from AP, the class 66 would be so much more immersive to drive. Another example - the class 43. ATP is fitted along the GWML, but not in TSW. AP have produced an enhancement pack for the HST that includes realistically simulated ATP. This would again, make the simulator more immersive.
Considering that GWE was DTG first passenger route into TSW, I reckon it has been a feature that they wanted to implement but haven't really got around to it. And just looking at the ATP unit, it looks too good of a feature to forget (in possible future updates this can be added in). GWE has some interesting hints for the 'future' (which are now released) routes, like animated destination boards on train-sets and locos, ability to door control panels within the carriage (Amfleet 1 on NEC).
