Fishing Sim World ????!!

I might as well go to the fairground and try to Hook a duck than these barbel at night, it's a joke.

 

I've tried every bait under every weather/ time of day scenario and can't catch them. I've even seen them swimming 3 or 4 at a time at the spawn point and they still won't take baits. I'm assuming they haven't been programmed to actually be caught mate. So disappointing!
