Hi everyone, I’m just wondering if I can still obtain the Virgin Trains BR Class 390 and the South Wales Coastal Bristol - Swansea as both of their discontinues flew over my head. I was wondering if there were any TRUSTWORTHY sites to buy them from. Thanks in advance, Your average bloke
The closest you will get is to buy TS 2018 https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/2326-buy-key-steam-train-simulator-2018/
You can not buy the newer Virgin Trains Class 390 There is an older one available which most people were happy with https://store.steampowered.com/app/208343/Train_Simulator_Class_390_EMU_AddOn/ And you can download a Free Repaint in to Virgin Livery Not sure on the South Wales Coastal Peter
And all they want is a few quid, plus your date of birth and picture ID (passport), as well as your payment credentials.
Not quite I have used them before - They need an email address to send you a Download Link and you pay with PayPal so they don't even know how you paid Get you facts right Peter
If you try to make more than two purchases, I think that you will find that they will ask you for your passport, or a scan of some photo ID. And if you give them this, on top of your Date of Birth, and your physical address, then you have just given them everything they need to become you, and get loans out in your name. Caveat Emptor, and all that....
I never have had that issue with them mind you I have signed in with my Facebook account but that doesn't have where I live or passport on it.
Is that a fact or something you are just making up - I too have used this website without a problem. Maybe it only applies to dubious persons
That is a distinct possibility....! ;-) But no, I am not making it up. It could be that I was just selected for a random check. Or it is possible that an algorithm on the website didn't like the way I browsed it. But I won't be using them again. Interestingly, the customer support said to me that even PayPal users are asked for a check, but if I had a "PaySafe Card" that there would be no need for full ID documentation.
Picked up quite a few DLC's including all the TS versions with the exception of TS2014 from Instant Gaming, G2A and Gamivo for literally pennies and so far had no issues. Gamivo are a bit on the sneaky side and you have to be on your toes because they try and get you to take their buyer protection and join their subscription service at every checkout, but as long as you remember to click the button to decline it's been fine. They also add fees to the purchase. All the keys have been delivered in under 5 mins and I've had no issues activating anything. You do have to create an account, but it's no more than a username and an email address which they send a verification email to. Paid by Paypal on all of them again with no issues.
No one more dubious than me when it comes to parting with my cash. However I managed to pick the Miami-Palm BeachDLC up for £0.11 on G2A so figured if it didn't turn up, I could weather the loss.
