Store Not Loading

    Anybody else having trouble loading the Dovetail store? I have added products to my basket but the checkout page has a loading circle and has done all day.

    Have you tried refreshing the store page. If yes then contact DTG customer support.

    I've tried that (3 days ago) no reply.
    Is the store working for you?

    Yeah it's working for me, your network connection perhaps.

    So strange. I've tried on my mobile network as well and can't explain why it's not working. I've tried on 3 blowers on my tablet, Mac, laptop (windows) and my phone. All doing the same - circle loading and nothing else.

    I also registered a new account and tried with that. I've switch to incognito and tried, deleted my cache, I've done all I can.

    I work in IT so I know it's not my end.

    That's a bit strange. Not sure why that would be.

    Yeah same. I tried all different options as that's what I know to do, yet it won't load on any of them. It goes to checkout, asks me to login, then the spinning circle. Left that running for 2 hours as well.

    That's really weird maybe it's related to your account, try creating a new account - BTW you should be able to access content from your other accounts.

    Created a new account yesterday and the issues were the same.

    Oh, uuummm that's really weird. Not sure then. It might be a case of keep trying and it will work eventually.

    Hi ChocoboPete,

    We've checked and the store is working normally, we're not seeing any issues at our end. Is it possible it could be a DNS issue? Try using a free VPN service to see if you can view the site that way - if it works via VPN then it's likely to be a problem either with your ISP or a wider network issue.

    Tried that. There are a few people on Twitter with similar issues. I just logged on to my neighbours computer and their WIFI (different supplier) and same. The page is stuck on 'Login' accordind to the tab.

    Just did a little test on sending/recieving information and it came back as 'no response' - so there is no responise once it gets to the point where it should access that area of the store. Basically, info is leaving my laptop asking questions and nothing comes back.

    Have you tried getting to that screen using mobile data? It might be a problem with the area’s WiFi cables

    Means nothing - everyone makes mistakes.

    What happens if you Log in First and then try to buy the item?

    I've tried logging in via mobile data and nothing.

    I've tried logging in and heading to the store, I am then suddenly logged out and the tab has me at "log in" with the spinning wheel. When I click login it stays on that section.

    Just had a reply from a friend. I asked him to purchase for me and he's having the same issue. Spinning wheel.

    If none of the suggestions work, don’t worry. There is the Steam Summer Sale on in 3 weeks and that will almost certainly have the Isle of Wight at a similar price, so you will be able to get it soon anyway. It is also on steam not DTG so you won’t encounter the same issue.

    Sadly I have a week off so was going to use the time to learn how to play.

    Keep in mind you can always buy directly on Steam, so it's merely two different portals. The DTG store sale usually follows the Steam sales. Third-party devs are where it gets dicey, as some will sell on Steam (Just Trains), and some will not (Armstrong). And I don't have experience with it, but having to verify game files might potentially ditch the third-party installs (scenario packs and other routes/assets), so you probably would need to keep a collection of purchased content of that type to quickly reinstall what you need.
