I know this was probably suggested, but hear me out. An extention in both directions to both New Haven (or atleast Stamford) and one to Trenton (or atleast Metropark). This could not only expand on current Amtrak trips, but also allow future add-ons like Metro-North's M8(with a possible extention/branch to Grand Central Station), NJT rolling stock or even the introduction of Amtrak's Acela (and maybe even the second gen Acela in the future!)
For the LIRR, well, lots of fans of that route would like to see their desiel/dual mode equipment (although I have heard that the MTA has been a little bit of a nusance with that) and the Oyster Bay branch would be perfect for it (you can already see the tracks leading to it east of Mineola)
For the EMUs, one of the branches from the South Shore line (the Babylon/Montauk), like the Far Rockaway or the Long Beach branches would be awesome!

I would definitely love to see Babylon/Montauk and oyster bay along with the dual mode diesel locomotives we already have the M3 Locomotive and the M3 Locomotive usually terminates at Babylon so why not extend the lirr route from Jamaica to Babylon/Montauk.

They just say in the TSW2 announcement FAQ that exsisting add-ons will remain as they are now. So I suppose that means route extension are not something we can look forward to.

They're not fixing bugs on current routes.

The routes from TSW will not see any further development for TSW2. If anything, a new route from scratch would need to be build for TSW2, with the hopes of the route being longer than it was previously.

why would they not fix the bugs on current routes, that doesn't make any sense. Like come on dtg. They just wanna chuck out more and more content without fixing the problems with current routes.
