Does anyone at DTG know how this will perform in relation to the original TSW? I really want to play it and I can run TSW pretty nicely, but I'd like to know if the performance is significantly different.

Looking at the required specifications, I'd assume it will run reliatively around the same performance as TSW 1

Thanks for letting me know. I can't seem to find those specs, are they for TSW 2 or the original?

From my point, TSW2 is reworked base application, GWR will be lost (for now) because it is only route (DLC) that is not available as standalone DLC. Good-old Sand Patch will be upgraded and available for all platforms.

No, because for all intent and purposes they are two separate games.

TSW 2 ? Are you kidding us? Three years nothing new just new addons, then you write that there will be no editor? Why buy TSW2 when there's nothing new to attract players? The same was the same with RW/TS 10.years on the market and still the same errors that you were not able to fix in that time, then you will issue a TS x64,which has an error in it and you are not able to remove, memory falling. I invested so much euro that I would have a new car, everyone should ignore you and not buy anything until something is 100% functional.

If you read the TSW 2 announcement, it says they are working on an editor and won't release it until all the issues are resolved.

This is the correct answer. You can safely remove TSW and everything you own will work in TSW2.

Vlastinek - This is good feedback, and not taken lightly. We'll go into more depth in the Q&A stream. The short answer is that the amount of work and the feature-set of TSW2, we believe, warrants being a new title. It's also a case that to fully realise everything we want TSW to be, these changes are needed. No, this isn't supposed to change your entirely valid viewpoint, and we'll get into that on Thursday.
