I’m buying my DLC in a few hours, what AMERICAN route should I buy? Comment down below and explain why.

I'd wait for TSW 2 and buy that. You'll get the revamped CSX: Heavy Haul plus 2 other routes.

It depends what you have already, and what platform you are on.

If you have nothing at all, then I would suggest you get the Collector's edition of TSW.... and get a large bunch of routes for not much more that one "full price" route.... But I'd suggest Peninsular Corridor is the most varied US route so far.

I suggest waiting until TSW2 drops and purchase that you'll get CSX heavy haul, ICE3 M Koln - Autach and London Underground Bakerloo line. This provides a varied collection of routes from US freight, high speed passenger services and stopping commuter services. All in all the option is yours. If you want a route now then PlasticPal's suggestion is a good one as Penusula Corridor is the best route as of now. As a PC owner I can tell you that CSX is worth a purchase so If your on console then wait until TSW2. Again though the choice is yours.

I plan on waiting until TSW 2 is released before I buy anymore DLC. (Unless some there is some crazy sale and I can't resist.) ;)

Me too, I like the special discounts for the freight areas. I don’t really like driving freight too :)

Are you PS4, Xbox, or PC....?

NB: If you don't care for freight, and you do want US stuff, then LIRR is worth a look. But ideally, you'd be on PS4 and then you could pick up NEC, LIRR and Peninsular Corridor in one pack, for one reasoably low price, and also get GWE, MSB, RT, NTP and RSN thrown in for free - eight routes for $35....ish.

My plans at the moment are:

6.00pm BST - Find some edible meat, and maybe eat it
    7.00pm - Channel 4 News
8.00pm - TSW 2 Q&A stream on PC (I think this is the right time....)
    9.00pm - Playstation 5 launch (software demonstrators)

    My plans are :
    • 7:00pm - Staying as far away from the News as possible, it bores me to death.
    • 8:00pm - TSW stream.
    • 9:00pm - I'll probably watch some boring film, that I'll hate. Because I hate everything.:)
    • 10:00pm - Meh.

I suspect that the stream at 8.00pm will go on for about three hours, certainly over two hours.... I don't want to spoil it for you, but it will probably include some of this:

"Okay. Good. Smashing. Fine. There you are. There we are. Done. Good. Yes. Smashing. Fine. Right. Good. Yes. There it is. See. There you are. There we are. All good. Yes. Yeah. Yep. Smashing. Fine." ;-)

If u don’t really like freight that much, I REALLY recommend the Peninsula Corridor. It has so much passenger variety if u own the route and the Baby Bullet dlc (if u want u can buy the MP15, but it only offers switching passenger cars, rescuing failed trains, and MOW, or maintenance of way movements, which u haul UP freight cars down the line). It’s also the best American route so far, due to the route length (47 miles) and passenger variety. It’s also fun to drive since sometimes u don’t know where to stop (of course the TSW hud tells u) in the 200-300 series services, limited stop to express “baby bullet”. In the end Penn. Corr. is the best American route so far, given its service variety and length.:)
