The quintessential holiday postcard view of Dawlish seafront, taken from the bridge just to the south of the station at dusk. Undoubtedly one of the most recognisable locations in Train Simulator.

Scotsman in the sky with viaduct...

Another absolute classic from the UK rail scene... A3 Flying Scotsman crosses the Ribblehead viaduct on the Settle and Carlisle line.

An Amtrak ACS-64 and a trio of CSX GP40-2's run underneath the abandoned Westcheseter Ave Station on a rainy day in the Bronx. The station was built in 1908 for the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, and was also served by the New York, Westchester and Boston railroad. The station, however was abandoned in 1937, when the NYW&B stopped operations. (New Haven stopped service to the station in 1931) The station still stands today however, sitting nearby Concrete Plant Park, overlooking the Northeast Corridor. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westchester_Avenue_station
    Route: NEC: New York-New Haven
    Locomotives: Siemens ACS-64, EMD GP40-2

Here we see a well-known landmark for Florida Railfans; The West Palm Beach Station. Originally built in 1925 by the Seaboard Air Line Railway when their famous Miami Extension reached West Palm Beach, the station was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and served many popular trains in its time with SAL, such as the Silver Meteor, Silver Star, Sunland, and Palmland. Here we see one of those trains, but with a new owner. Amtrak 97, the Silver Meteor, is pulling into its southbound stop at the old station, enroute to Miami.

Route: Miami - West Palm Beach
    Loco: P42DC

It's 1975 and a BR Class 37 is about to head south on the East Coast Mainline. Behind it Durham's castle and cathedral maintain their enduring watch over the city, just as they have for almost a thousand years.

It's time for some German action, so I present a DB 101 on the München to Rosenheim route as it accelerates through Heimeranplatz. Behind it is the distinctive shape and colour of ADAC Zentrale, the German Automobile Club's HQ.

Are those the particles from the standard loco? They look like the ones in the Steam Sounds Supreme pack.

    That's because they are.

Thanks for ruining it for me, and for everyone who voted for that screenshot. Thanks a lot.

You couldn't just keep quiet could you. You had to spoil my fun, and everyone else's. Thanks.

For the record, it did not occur to me when I selected that shot for the entry (it is a Sound pack, after all, not a cosmetic one). But he is correct, it does add different smoke particles that are not available in the vanilla version, which means my screenshot is not compatible with the rules on third party content.

    Hey everyone!

Happy Friday! Thank you for all your submissions this week some really great shots here but this week's winner is... Blacknred81, congrats!

    New Thread: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/ts20-screenshot-contest-week-23-june-2020.23626/

Apologies for the lack of communication in regards to the 'AT&N Consolidation Class 280-157 Loco' ban situation but I have been speaking with the powers that be to find out the reasons why it is on the banned list for screenshots. No one has been able to give me an answer as the product is available globally so with that in mind I've taken the loco off of the banned list! If anything changes I will let everyone know.

    Have a great weekend!

    Chris
