I was just curious to see what will be happening with TSW2 upon its August 6th release date, will it be the same price as TSW Classic and TS Classic? Or will it be a free update to the existing platform. If Dovetail see this thread could you please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.

I am an Xbox One player of TSW so another feature I would like to see (It probobly was announced for TSW2 I can't remember) is the use of in-game pause break and screenshot for console platforms

It’s a new game and you will have to pay for it. Price has not yet been announced.

We will probably have to pay for it because 1 it is a separate game, and 2 it includes two new routes (3 if your on console), plus all the new features. Will current owners of TSW get a discount, I certainly hope so.

That's what I was hoping for, that existing TSW 2020 players would get the game free or at a high discount atleast but new customers would have to pay for it or (if it is released on Xbox game pass) xbox players could get it free via that

Hopefully its either a discount for existing TSW customers but if it isn't I would assume the price will be the usual £24.99 I have no idea tho

In yesterdays Q&A, Matt said the price of TSW 2 will be £24.99. They don't know what the price will be in other currencies yet.

There may be a preorder option and maybe a discount for existing customers, which would be awesome but for the moment this is the set price.

I already own CSX:HH and the extra loco.

So I would really appreciate a slight discount for owners of the original TSW.

It would be a nice 'thank you' for being a supporter of their product.

    Hopefully they will consider it.

Matt also briefly commented about pre-orders/discounts saying that there would something to say about that closer to release date.

Looks like $42.50 in Canadian dollars. A discount would be nice... a little more than the usual 10% which works out to less than the 13% sales tax here. It's not a deal breaker for me. Either way, I am looking forward to buying this.

Agreed it seems we always get hit the hardest when it comes to the pricing of content.

I wonder how large of a discount TSW 2 will be for TSW 1 owners. I'll feel very ripped off if we don't get 30% off or more.

For those who were wondering, I feel this way because if you already own TSW this isn't that much of a difference. It's already a bit of a shame that it isn't a full overhaul so if we have to pay full price or almost full price I'll feel really ripped off. This should just be an addition to the game for free, and I think if they just added these features to the pre-existing game and sold the new content as DLC it would be much more fair.

BigMountain555 & fanta1682002: I have reported both your posts. You are both well aware this is an English language forum.
If you wish to speak in Chinese to each other, please do so somewhere else. Thanks

The way I see it, is that we're paying for new routes.
Routes cost $39.99 where I live (Canada). If we get two or three routes for that price, it's a bargain.
But I have a feeling it'll run around the $50 mark.

[removed by Protagonist - include the currency otherwise it's misleading]
