Very nice! I love the North Somerset Railway. It's an under-used route, in my opinion. :)

Very underused. It's a shame too, since it's a really nice route.

The "Cornish Riviera Express" to Paddington is seen thundering through Newton Abbot as a Grange & Pannier await their road to the Devon Banks. A 1400 is also seen shunting the yard. All this action is observed from the cab of an Autocoach waiting it's turn to leave the yard to head towards the Moretonhampstead branch. PICK_ME.jpg
    Route: Riviera in the Fifties
    Locomotive: GWR/BR 1400 + GWR/BR Double Chimney Castle + GWR/BR Grange + GWR/BR 5700 Pannier

A tranquil yet busy evening at Newton Abbott in June 1935. A 14xx, 51xx and 29xx "Saint" (nos. 4863, 5115, and 2915 Saint Bartholomew respectively) all stand at attention with passenger trains waiting to depart. A pair of "Small Prairies" and a line of autocoaches wait in the sidings for their next duties.

Gresley A4 racehorse no. 4489 Dominion of Canada roars through north Darlington with an express bound for King's Cross on a hazy afternoon in March 1947. LNER J50 no. 8981 stands with a short train of coal hoppers while decidedly foreign LMS 3F "Jinty" no. 7109 waits on a separate road for passage back to Penrith.

Route: Weardale & Teesdale Rail Network
    Locomotives: LNER J50, LMS 3F, LNER A4

I hate to be a stickler for details but the GWR block letter livery didn't appear until about 3 years into WWII around 1942/1943 ish. Other than that it's a lovely screenshot!

During the 1950s, steam gave way to diesels more and more, as evidenced by this photo taken sometime in the mid-50s (exact date unknown). Here we see a rare shot as a pair of F7 freight diesels lead a commuter train, paused here in Gallitzin, ultimately bound for Pittsburgh.

Found in a box in the attic from a railfanning trip long ago, the date of this photo is unknown. But it is clear it must have been a good day, as we see a train entering the yard lead by 4 diesels, a pair of F7s perform some switching duties, and a group of locos wait on the refuelling tracks for their next orders.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think it has something to do with the way I positioned the lights when setting the scene up.

In the list of content that is not allowed in the contest (found in the contest description), the B&LE route is not there, meaning it is still an eligible entry.

Unfortunately, the AT&N Consolidation is not allowed to win the contest. (Great shot though)

Hmm, I see it in the list, but it shouldn't be there! As far as I know, the "Connie" is available globally. TrainSim-ChrisTS, would you mind checking it for me?

Historic is a theme that can be applied in many ways. but I think this fits rather well. A 1960s loco pulls a train from a station built in 1877, overlooked by an 800 year old cathedral standing on a 1,400 year old site in a 2,000 year old city.

A BR Class 37 leaves York Station at sunset on the East Coast Mainline route.

To an extent, Raton Pass should also be allowed in Screenshot contests as well, as that also has global availability.

But a US customer couldn't be allowed to win with it if their screenshot featured the BNSF branded locos included. I think people would get confused by the complexity of the rules necessary so DTG took the sensible step of removing its eligibility. Incidentally, I think many (most?) US players don't realise that rest of world players aren't allowed to buy DLC containing BNSF branded equipment.

I agree, we have a really competitive scene going on here as the quality of entries is very high. Congratulations on the win!

The route also features Amtrak Equipment though which isn't restricted to the US only, not to mention the Montana Hi-Line is allowed for contests (Though no one has won one using that route yet) Same thing with the Chicago Racetrack. (Though Metra is completely unbranded across the world.) Also both routes can win using Amtrak equipment, but none come with the route by default (Raton pass does, and is the only route that has Material Handling Cars, as well as Spine Cars)

I had assumed that the underlying premise was to only use routes and equipment that were available worldwide. Yet, the AT&N Consolidation is banned. Any idea why? So far, no response from TS Chris.

Only thing I can think of is that the AT&N is a predecessor to the St Louis - San Fransicso Railway (FRISCO) which is a predecessor of the BNSF railroad, so no AT&N logos allowed in screenshots (Even though the loco is available worldwide)
