Main Spessart Bahn - Train Does Not Work

I've been playing on the Main Spessart Bahn route & the power controls don't work 90% of the time. I follow the tutorial to the tee & everything is set for correct operations (pantograph up, MCB closed, battery on, brake key turned, train power on) but nothing seems to work. The only reason I get any speed at all is if I'm on an incline.

Edit: This happens in every train on the Main Spessart Bahn.

 

Have you set reverser to forward? Post screenshot of your control desk.

 

A mistake I've made a few times. Is your brake key inserted.

 

Have you released the parking brake?
