Nothing so far. My understanding is there are supposed to be Q&A's coming for each route, then at some point after those another general Q&A. From the streams I have seen, two weeks ago, the stream might have been that week or the week after (last week), since then, I haven't heard anything other than they currently don't know when. I was sort of expecting to see something before the Q&A, so questions could be asked or at a minimum during the Q&A.
The next footage from the game is coming very soon. We'll set-up the Q&A to run within a couple of days of it being released.
Don't think it'll be tonight. Tonight is.... Wait, I'll go and check the schedule real quick... *hops over to FB* *looking* *looking* *still looking* Never mind, it's only Wednesday, waaay too early to put up the schedule
My guess is Friday, with the Q&A on Monday/Tuesday. We had the last TSW2 update last Friday so it would make sense if it was this Friday.
I know exactly when it's supposed to come out, but I'm not about to announce it in case it doesn't happen. Instead, please enjoy "soon".
It will probalby be both. Give some people ample to moan about then as to why they have to fork out £24.99..... Will try and catch when I can. My mum is in hospital at the mo so thats a priority. Regards Hentis
Sam, When You Say Soon Do Mean Soon Or 'Soon'* *For A Reference Like when steam trains arrive in TSW 2
I should hope you know when more footage is going to be released aswell, because i would be concerned if you didn't
Nice video. They've dropped the use of overly dramatic music. Interesting that they have also dropped all mention of 6th August release in both the video and all the Dovetail live articles. Just makes me think even more that a delay is on the cards.
If that's the case, that's good, honestly. They should take their time to iron out bugs this time, hopefully even fixing some of the TSW2020 routes so they can safely leave them alone after TSW2 with less complaints.
Nice video! Did you notice there is a tank train with the corresponding grain hopper first, behind the locomotives?.
I have one concern that’s bothering me.if this game has been produced to help the console players (and it’s been spoke about by certain communities)we definitely need to see in game footage of the console version instead of PC...as I think it could be misleading if it’s not
The number of console players is far far greater than PC players, as Sam showed in last night’s stream, yet all the streams are on high powered PCs. There very much needs to be streams from both PS4 and Xbox so we can see what we are getting, and to better represent the look of DLCs. The graphics on the streams tend to be better than what console players actually get. The streams could be clearly titled to show what platform is being used so nobody gets a false impression at any time. This approach should be taken for TSW2 as standard and possibly, depending on the number of streams in the future, to TSW content too.
Yeah, they could do this..... but they would then need to buy a PS4 and XBox...... and they would need a pre-release version of the game to test..... um.... I mean.... play in the stream...... Sorry - I nearly used the word "test" again....... apologies if using such a disgusting word has caused any offence.
Just in case anyone is expecting any gameplay footage this evening. Found this reply in another thread. Quite disappointing really.
Hi Anthony Yes, I know it is called the buffer car. But I posted that late yesterday and I was really very tired. I believe apart from the cause you mentioned for buffer cars, it is also to have the chance to uncouple and save the locomotives as they are very expensive! Could be a fire, on one or more of the oil cars, but even not derailed.. The heat of the locomotives could surely create a worst situation. Do this measure was a consequence of the unfortunately Lac-Mégantic rail disaster?
What happened with the Lac-Megantic disaster was a failure on behalf of the rail company, with a poorly maintained locomotive and that not enough steps were taken to ensure it would not roll away. The engineer failed to ensure that all the train's brakes were applied to prevent it from rolling away on it's.
