Use a Size 10 IQ-D Silt with 12mm dumbbell and large double sweetcorn, last pole KD rig 10 silt with Hi vis pop up 15 mm. I'm top three every time. Sonik S4 Carp rod 12 foot, Sonik tournos 10000, Haichou 20 braided mainline. Top three every time. Nobody said it was easy, I just gave you the formula

You don't need the 25 pound line, your trying to catch 6-15 pound Carp as fast as you can. That's the set up

I see different names every day placing in the top 8, I'm there every day. Share my load outs everyday. Trust me, I'm an animal

The reason your using the 12 mm dumbbell and double sweetcorn is to also attract the tench and bream, the reason for the size ten hook. The hi vis pop up is for when it starts raining or the clouds roll in, the Carp start destroying it the second it hits the water. Large double sweetcorn on a 10 hook will pop for you while your dealing with that hi-vis constantly getting hit. The dumbbell 12 is for when Carp stop biting for 5 minutes, the bream and tench will attack it. So your never not reeling them in. If you doubt me. Try it

Don't use size 8 or 6 in tourneys, you will deter the tench and bream, stick with the 10, it's about maximizing your ability to attract as many fish as possible as fast as possible. Use my tactics you'll find me near the top consistently. Nice to see you

By the way, your welcome, I couldn't find any posts like this when I was trying to learn the game. That's why I'm posting this.
