    Hiya,

Is it just me or is the joint sounds off when your train goes over a set of points? Been really bugging me ever since the early days of TS.

For me when my train goes over a set of points, at the start of them (the point toes), I get the normal bogie joint sounds but then also a second set of joint sounds. When the train goes over the frog (the V shaped crossover) there’s just silence.

Seems to me as if the sounds have been put for the crossover in the point toe part of the point. It’s a tiny issue, I know, but it really bugs me when driving.

Is it a thing that people have noticed or am I going mad?! (Lol)

If so, is there a fix at all?

    - Appreciated

Try the same train in Free Roam on different routes -
If you find it sounds better on one route to another the sounds files of that route which could possibly copied to another route.

Appreciate the response. Although it seems to be like that on every route. Seems to be like the crossover joint sound ain’t there?

I don't understand how the point sounds are set up.
Something in the Rail Network setup causes the sound on the points but what part of the points I don't know.
