    Hi,

I just discovered, on the outside of the BR204 there is a valve that allows you to set braking mode from Passenger to Goods. Setting it to goods improves braking behaviour a lot. This is not documented. In the cab there is a gear selector, allowing to select shunting mode (show as S at the HUD). This function is documented in the manual. Enjoy driving!

I have here a screenshot of it from a while ago.

This was made when the bogie was in the wrong position :P

You got this in whilst I was editing! Two heads are always thicker than one.

The tricky part is that while the valve is present on both sides of the engine, only one of them can be manipulated.

Can I just ask, what route(s) does the 204 appear in on TSW? Also, are there many timetabled services? May get it in a future sale, depending on routes and timetabled services covered.

OK, thanks, that's disappointing to hear. I will wait until it's about 50/60% off then.

I’m going to wait for a really big discount for this as well. It looks like a good model but the limited use is a worry. It’s not as if you’re going to see it much while driving other services as it’s mainly hidden down a branch line. That might change if they do bring it to other routes in the future, which could happen in either TSW or TSW2 (not holding my breath though).
