Well, Lets say DTG start making once or twice a year a route that features More than 70 miles, at a higher price. Or just once a year, like some Sort of "deluxe route". What routes, within 70-90miles aprox would you want in TSW? If you got some ideas, just throw them...
Definitely would be part of the Central Maine Railroad. A lot of beautiful and varied scenery and lots of grade changes! I am hoping that TSW2 will be able to handle route extensions as I think that would be a welcome addition. View attachment 28644
The WCML seems like an obvious choice for me....but doing the whole route would be a bit too 'mega' -- but they could certainly do a sizeable run of it from London. Also if the London end of the WCML is included it could potentially add interesting traffic to the Bakerloo Line which runs parallel to it at the northern end
For example; West Coast Main Line, from London Euston to Rugby (82 miles) South West Main Line, from London Waterloo to Southampton Central (79 miles)
