Welcome back to the Train Simulator Screenshot Contest! This is the 28th week of 2020. This week's theme is: At Station You can vote for next week's theme in the poll attached to this thread. You can submit your screenshot to the thread, and every Friday we will choose which screenshots will go to the loading screens. Shortly after, we will open a new thread and announce the winners. Each week has its own theme which is voted for by the community. Competition Rules: Limit is 2 screenshots per person; 1 screenshot per post. Include in your post the route the screenshot was taken on as well as the name of the train (if applicable). Screenshots must be in a 16:9 resolution, at least 1920x1080 pixels. Screenshots must fit the theme of the week, as stated at the beginning of this post. Other Rules: Official content only. Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot. - This means no reshade, repaint mods, track upgrades or workshop routes. It's a bit of a drowsy day at Springfield Union Station, in 1957. On the left, we have a local, waiting to depart towards New Haven. Coming up the center, is the train the local is waiting on, a general manifest on its way north. Over on the right, a yard switcher is dragging some coaches up from the yard, readying them for spotting at the platform, so passengers can board with at least some shelter, on this rainy day. It's 1957 and a New Haven GP9 brings the local mail and express to a stop at the Elmwood depot. A couple of tracks over, a merchandise freight rolls past. Route Used: VNHRR Springfield Line Locomotive Used: EMD GP9
One late evening in 1958, an FEF-3, heading up the Overland Limited (one of the engine's final runs in revenue service) makes a stop in Evanston to board passengers. Impressed by the works of O. Winston Link and Richard Steinheimer, a local railfan uses this as an opportunity to test out his new flash bulbs and snaps this photo. It's a busy day in the early 60s at Castle Douglas Station on the Western Lines of Scotland as a couple of ex LMS Class 5's shunt the yard as a BR Class 20 pulls an empty tanker train east.
