Anyone else getting screenshots that are darker than the game appeared while playing it? Also... in Borderless mode, the in game brightness setting seems to have no effect at all.

Huh, I seem to have the opposite problem with my screenshots, especially in the early/late hours. See:

That last one was especially bad, as in-game for me it was almost pitch black. I've found that the ambient light intensity option is what's causing this to the best of my knowledge. You'll probably have to play around with it to get a result that looks good at all hours.

Seems to me, that no matter how I set it in game, the screen shots are consistently darker. I'm using NVidia Shadowplay to grab video, and the usual method for screenshots. Both screenshots or video give the same level of darkness.

Railfan722, both your screenshots appear to be using the AP weather enhancement pack. Could that be affecting the light levels?

when I save a screen shot I download it and edit it in Lightroom, brighten, sharpen etc etc then 'save'
That does now solve taking to original though, will look at PC screen brightness

I didn't have issues with dark screenshots but with driving, at night I couldn't see anything so I tilted my monitor forward a bit and everything is now alright. Maybe try that with your screenshots. I now leave my monitor tilted forward a bit. It has also helped when driving at night in a car racing sim that I play.

Changing viewing angles doesn't really change anything here. £2300 Eizo hardware calibrated screen here, so that's definitely not the problem.

Is Ambient Occlusion on or off?

Sorry... been away a while. it's on, but not in the game settings... it's on via RWEnhancer Pro. Since making the first post though, I've been messing with all manner of things, and even defaulted back to a vanilla, fresh install of TS2020... it still does it.. yes, with AO off. Only TS2020 has this issue though... other games do not, and neither does recording the desktop, so ICC colour profiles are not the issue.
