As an LUL employee, I wouldn’t complain at any lines being added. Of course as mentioned in the Bakerloo line Q&A, the majority of our lines are now operating in “ATO” (Automatic Train Operation) and the SSR (Circle, District, H&C and Met lines) are transitioning into ATO, but all can be operated manually, so there’s still a reason to include them. You could also have the choice of ATO options if you wish, for that authentic feel, I know the “BVE” train simulator game did it.
That would be nice since they all do run together at some points of their line. Hammersmith And City and Circle Lines have the Same terminus (Last Stop) at Hammersmith station
I would love the option to drive the train in automatic and manually like in OpenBVE. DTG should give the player the option. I mean if you can run a CSX Diesel train in the Bakerloo line tunnels, then we should have the option to Drive London Underground trains automatically or manually.
If Michelle McManus taught us anything, it's that you should always retain editorial control and NEVER let the audience have the final say.
There is a big difference between putting a CSX train on the Bakerloo line and having trains run themselves. It’s not impossible but obviously there aren’t many people that will be willing to do ATO. The routes can be released with manual driving. Time will tell.
Why would the W&C be an extension to the Bakerloo? They use completely different trains and it's ATO anyway which they've already said they're not doing.
