I noticed that ECW is titled as "Train Sim World 2: East Coastway," even though it is part of the preserved collection from TSW 1. To avoid confusion or disappointment over preserved collection DLC which doesn't support all the new features, would it be better to keep the prior DLC labeled as "TSW:"
To be fair, if you click on the DLC you will see 2 things: 1) A description which reads: As this is part of the Preserved Collection, features remain as they were in the original release. 2) A red badge on the image saying "TSW Preserved Collection"
I expect that new customers read the product description on the website before they will buy the game. Otherwise it's their own fault.
I'll pass your comments on, but we are flagging Preserved Collection in any DLC that falls into that category.
No list required....everything from TSW2020 will eventually come across to TSW2's preserved collection with the exception of NEC:NY, GP40-2, Amtrak SW1000R & Amtrak ex-Metroliner Cab Car.
There will be one in the TSW2 Starters Guide. This guide probably will be available in the second half of September here: https://www.hollandhiking.nl/trainsimulator
Although, if things can be done to highlight this better, then those avenues should be explored. I'll openly admit that I've purchased dlc without reading the description (including Train Simulator DLC). I know enough that it's risk free for me, but for others it wouldn't be. It's a five second job to add the words "Preserved Collection" to the title page of each dlc, and helps further separate new from old at a glance.
