Two weeks to launch and we have some more new screens to share with you this Friday! The theme this week: Clear to proceed - Take a closer look at the signalling keeping you safe and on time in Train Sim World 2. READ MORE
In the article, you refer to the HUD and how it helps with the signals, but there is no HUD shown in any of the screenshots.
Good thing we can ignore useless people spamming like a bot. Let’s hope this time the PZB/LZB will work perfectly fine without any bugs
From what I’ve seen so far it’s a significant improvement over TSW 1 lighting and visuals. Some noticeable improvements I’ve noticed are: - Reduced bloom - Ugly distant white fog has gone - Can see further into the distance thanks to the above - Shadows are more defined/darker - Cloudy weather actually makes ground lighting darker now as per real life - Colours look more realistic and natural. Not overly saturated/vibrant nor under saturated/washed out
I understood it the same way you did the first time I read it, but if you read it again carefully what they are saying is that you can see in the screenshot that sometimes the signals are so close between them that they appear very quickly one after the other. PS: BTW, the news item is tagged as "PS4" and "Xbox". Probably someone forgot to tag it "Steam", as it happened with the previous ones.
I also realize these changes to as well when they will previewing the german ice route. Let just hope that the weather is also improved and the time setting for night time looks more realistic. I hate the LIRR Night time view. Let also hope these improvements are carried over to all the route, and train that was on TSW.
I agree! I know when the preserved collection was announced they stated they wouldn’t be updating them with the TSW2 features. They did decide to make the TSW routes work with the scenario planner which is good, I’m not sure if we can expect any upgrades other then that.
This is a question I have after watching the gameplay stream. Will the US locomotives have working PTC and Trip Optimizer?
