    the gaming industry is very fluid nothing can always go to plan look how many times games like cyberpunk 2077 have been delayed announced today is that dirt 5 is being delayed by a week all i can say is be thankful we are getting a roadmap and understand that not everything is plain smooth when it comes to making things

    Exactly and you would think with everything which is going on around us, the roadmap being delayed would be pretty insignificant. Very much a first world problem.

    totally agree, yeah it's not like the game is being delayed to December look at games like anthem they made a roadmap but instead they had to make a new roadmap to delete there previous roadmap

    We have a Q&A on Friday. Maybe they can share something about the roadmap without revealing the full thing to make up for the delay.

    I think you've highlighted the point that Longo was trying to make. The roadmap is delayed, however not many care about this fact. Protagonist has said earlier that it isn't delayed, it's just coming out on Tuesday instead.

    This is where the anger(?) seems to have come from. Why not just say it's delayed, be open and move on, would have been easier than this.

    Sam simply told us that it wasn’t delayed because it wasn’t ready but because they are going to try to do updates on Tuesdays. Mr.Longo’s anger is being overly dramatic, and his anger seems like it has more to do with DTG in general and not just this one specific circumstance.

    Why are we mad exactly? It seems Sam is stating the difference between being delayed because it’s not ready and being delayed for 4 days so it’s released on Tuesday instead.

    That is half of the truth. The other half is this:

    The roadmap is not ready to be shown to others yet.
    It should have been presented this way in Protagonit's first reply and not several posts later. If he had done that in his first post this thread would be half its current length.

    Most have moved on and aren't getting angry, it is those who choose to be angry and have some strange personal problem with DTG who are bringing it up and making it into a major issue!

    No one is making it a major issue, but there are some here that can't stand that others say the roadmap is delayed.

    I think we're done here. Several people would be well advised to step away from the keyboard and calm down.

    To make everyone happy - the roadmap is delayed until next Tuesday as that's a more appropriate time to release it.
