Please can we have these fixed before you abandon it on the 20th? They dont always come off, and when they do they come off too slow and dont always come off entirely...Also the come back on by themselves :/ Great class and powerband but the brakes man! I have held off buying the Class 20 because of these issues and so far the 31 is the poor relation, so are there any similar faults with the 20?
Class20 is well worth it. I've never driven a train (or a flown 747) and have to assume the devs do their homework. Like cars not all locos of the same class would perform exactly the same. The class32 brakes are probably correct and even if not it gives you something else to master
The 20 isn't a bad purchase, except for: - Weird lighting glitches from a distance - Very little new content - Sounds are hugely distorted on consoles (but not an issue on PC, therefore hasn't been tested or fixed) The brakes aren't as slow on the 20, which is good. It's just a shame about the fact the 20 broke one of the 31 scenarios (also unlikely to be fixed now)
If Cement Circle isn't fixed then I won't be buying TSW2. I don't think they'll walk away and leave TSW1 broken but if they do, I'm out.
It seems to have been broken when they did an update just before the Class 20 DLC was released, so I suspect it affects everyone.
If you are on PC than there is Cement Circle scenario fix for that on my page: http://www.trainsim.cz/?mod=article&showid=2379 For the console versions im not able to do that, you will have to wait for DTG fix.
Although DTG announced the class 20 would be the last update to TSW, I have a feeling there’s a chance Cement Circle will be fixed as a scenario being broken is a big deal, I do think that would be the only bug they would be willing to fix, as I’m sure in TSW2 preserved collection that this scenario won’t include this bug. I do hope you can look past the Cement circle bug as the class 20 and TSW2 do and look like they will have plenty of great content!
I hope you're right and they will fix it. Sadly this is another example of poor communication, as they could quite easily state that they're looking into a resolution to this and they're working to fix it. Instead it's radio silence.
I believe Protagonist has said that they are looking into it, I believe they are aware. I’ll have to look around for the post to see what was actually said. Edit- Link to the Technical forums on this subject with more information. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/br-class-31-‘cement-circle’.23726/
Although that was over a month and a half ago (nearly two months). That's quite a long time to not have a fix.
With COVID-19, launching TSW2 in a week, I’m sure it’s something that will addressed but understandably it hasn’t been the top priority at the moment. Hopefully it will be addressed after the TSW2 launch.
