I was watching the Twitch showing the Bakerloo Line run from E&C to H&W.
At 08.23 (Sim Clock) the train approaches and passes a Green Signal but then the next is a Red signal
    Is that correct?
Normally there should be something showing a Yellow before a Red
Or is the Signalling on the Euston - Watford DC section different?

    Hi,
    No, you are quite correct.
It seems that they have implemented the same signaling types both south and north of Queens Park.
On the Underground, you can have a Red signal preceded by a Green due to the lower line speeds and dependent on Signal sighting distance, however on the Network rail section north of Queens Park, the signals should be as standard Network Rail signals i.e. any Red signal should be preceded by a yellow aspect.
This is such a shame as they have gone to the trouble of correctly numbering the signals on the the entire line :(.
    Mike.

I was impressed to see the red signal at the end of most stations turn green only when train is starting to move from the station, not the other way around.

On the RRO line at the end of every station you have red signal which turns green aspect at the moment you close the doors :)

This is not the RRO line, wherever that is, and the drivers in the UK are instructed not to move the train until the signal is clear.

Yes of course but the signals on the line Rhein-Ruhr Osten are always red aspect. It turns green only when you close the doors. Sure the train should not move if the aspect is red. But it is not to change back to green when you close the doors on the train, but they should change green depending of the occupancy of the blocks ahead.

The instructions in most case would be so far as to not even close the doors against a red.

I know the dispatcher is not the best, but why the signal can't step up when the loading is complete (prior to doors closing) is beyond me.

Unless there is a train in front or a change of route the Signals should be showing a Green Aspect.
Can they not even get the basics right?

Not at every station, and only for the fast line where the RE trains drive. The S-Bahn does not have this behaviour. I do not know if it realistic to do it like this, Anyway it is perfect to practice PZB skills.
