PlayStation Rivet Games-tsw2 Teaser!

Hi everyone,
Rivet games the ones responsible for the DB204 just put out a Tweet of this picture and they tagged TSW2 in the hashtag. What exactly are we looking at here?!

 

1. Well it is railway that has NO overhead electric wires. I see a third-rail so maybe EMU traction could be used. Or diesel. But I cannot guess what route it could be. Maybe a route in the UK?

 

I believe Rivet games has mostly made German routes. A lot of people that posted on their post think it’s a UK route as well!

 

Looks like the South West of England a bit doesn't it? Somersetish?

hey guys look on the pc discussions as me and few other people on discord believe we have found possibly where it is the screenshot is taken place have a look and we have some photos resembling a bridge and staircase bare in mind from google maps and a mix of bing maps showing a close resemblance to the photo shown by rivet today

Rivet Games has only made German/Austrian routes but Alan Thompson's previous studio has made UK routes (albeit mostly bad ones ).

Well then I guess we’re gonna get Rivet’s first TSW Route in TSW 2! I can say that the bridge and plants look rather British to me, as they look like the ones on ECW, but it’s obviously not the East Coastway since that’s part of the preserved collection, it’s not optimized for TSW 2. So it has to be located somewhere else along the UK. If not then it may be German, or Scottish, idk. It could be Scottish if it follows the steps of OSD, kinda. We’ll have to wait and see to confirm anything, which could be...when? I also don’t know, only rivet and possibly DTG know, and I’ll bet it’ll be revealed in the TSW 2 roadmap, which they’ll also probably announce routes for October and the holidays. I rlly hope so! Till then everyone start speculating!

 

Zooming in you only see a third rail on one set of tracks, unless that’s not a third rail. If you count it’s only 5 rails in the photo.

 

Maybe it’s just a very thick third rail, serving both tracks, or two rails along one support beam.

 

I still think it's UK and from arial photos I think it's along the ramsgate branch which is part of the Chatham main line

 

I think the second furthest rail is the third rail for the far track as if you look closely it's supported on insulators and not fastened to the sleepers. The third rail is just hiding the running rail behind it as the third rail is taller.

Confirmed its Isle of wight and Rivet is also making another route as well. Mega Sim announced it in his YouTube.

 

Yea, but wait: where is the Arosa Line located again? Let me guess: a Swiss route?
