    Hello!
    Newbie on TSW 2020
Stop marker. How to install and activate this function?
About it in the French User Manual "Ctrl + 7" and in game settings "Stop marker on / off" but applying these commands no working.
I am a newbie and this function would be very useful for me to achieve correct braking.
    Thank you for your support

You don't need to install it & check the settings

The y do work, but unfortunenately TSW does not give any feedback to you about the actual value. You also can set this up in the settings, so you can review how it is actually set. The TSW Starters Guide provides you with a more in depth description on all user settings. You can download the Starters Guide here:

    OK thanks for your answer
I am on the SandPatchGrade DLC with a GP38 2. As explained the option "stop marker" is activated in the game settings but nothing no marker has come to a stop.
I wonder if this option exists in SandPatch?
    What do you think ?

There are 2 assitances that tell you where to stop:
    1. The "Objective Marker" is the blue icon that you see over the track, with the distance next to it.
    2. The "Stop Marker" is the shadow of where your train should be over the track for a perfect stop. The shadow is red and slowly turns green as your train gets closer to the perfect stop position.
Which one are you trying to activate?

PS: Made a quick test. The "Stop Marker" is not working in CSX:Heavy Haul (TSW1 Sand Patch Grade).

Sandpatch is the eldest route. If I remember correctly, you will not see stop markers a Sandpatch. They were introduced for Great Western Express. Also not all freight services use stop markers at all stopping points.
