I have a suggestion for the organisation of the TSW forums

Can the general discussion threads be merged for threads that apply to all platforms?

Recently there have been members posting duplicate threads in each of the PC, PS4 and Xbox discussion forums to ensure everyone sees them. This is splitting the narrative and becoming confusing for those of us that follow discussions as they evolve. This isn’t the fault of those members, it’s just there isn’t a place for actual general TSW discussions to be posted.

Most general discussion threads apply to the game as a whole anyway.

The only other forum to post general discussion threads that apply to all platforms is in the Off Topic forum, which is bad on two fronts. Very few people see your thread if it is posted there and it isn’t really a place for threads which are on the topic of TSW anyway.

Please take a look at this if you can.

    Thank you.

I like your suggestion. Considering how DTG keeps saying every platform gets the same features and the same experience, I can't see why we need seperate forums for the platforms. It's the same game anyways :P

And the technical discussion forum has tags for platform specific topics.

Definitely a good idea. I think I counted 7 threads on the latest Rivet release.

And so many Q&A and reaction threads with all the triplicated answers to the same questions.

Definitely deserves a bump as it got lost in the half a dozen or more threads about the roadmap now!

Protagonist posted an announcement elsewhere that it is being looked at but with the consideration of a new game coming out and the possibility of a lot of platform specific enquiries coming from old and new members alike this is not the right time to do it. And a request not to post multiple threads was included.

The forum is about to get very busy once the TSW2 touch paper has been lit for launch.

Maybe people could pay a little bit more attention before creating a new thread. It doesn't take 30 seconds to read through to see if someone has already started a thread, especially when it's the latest hot topic.
