hi can't wait for tsw2, but I have a question, at the moment during gameplay on tsw2020, due to family commitments I usually can't play a long scenario as I haven't found a way to save the game during a scenario. So my question is on tsw2 can we start a scenario then save it halfway through then load it in at a later time to complete the scenario without starting from scratch?
You should be able to save go into the pause menu and click on save when you go back into the main menu of the game click recently played and that will take you to the saved game
When I try to save my game and then go back into it it fails to tell me where to stop at and at what time. Sure it's a big I have but not fussed now. I never save my game now
try jumping of and back on the seat so the game recognises you operating personally i have never had a problem with the save
Ah I see I've been able to save but never known how to load it back up again from were i saved. Thanks for that
Well I tried it, last night I spent over an hour and 1 mile from my destination ot crashed. But I did save it, so I thought I would pick it up today. Loads the game in, picks North pennine and can't find were to launch the save game. I look in journeys and continue journeys but it was a totally different scenario. What am I doing wrong and why can't they be a simple load game menu. Please help.
Should be a button to load last save there. Doesn't matter what route menu you do it from. It will always load the last manual save from the route you did it in. It's not Continue Journey - that will just start the next journey from the beginning.
there is a last played but I thought this just loaded the last scenario I played and not the last save
Last Played is the button for the saved game. Instead of it being called “Last Played” it would have been clearer if it was “Resume Saved Session” but it isn’t. Hence the confusion a lot of players have.
When Great Western Journeys becomes available on TSW2 will I be able to drive the Class 43 HST and the Class 166 Commuter Train on the San Francisco Route and drive the CalTrains including the Switcher Locomotive on the Great Western Railway Route in Off The Rails Mode ?
Nice, I'm very pleased that I can do that in the game plus the Class 43 HST, Class 166 Commuter and the 1,500hp CalTrain Switcher Locomotive are my most favourite trains in Train Sim World.
