Hello, I'm not sure if this topic fits here, but I have a problem. I got the AP Class 465 a while ago. I have installed everything that is needed: ECML London Kings Cross and the DTG Class 465, which is stored in the author folder of RSC. When I then opened the train simulator, only the TSO and TOSL or something were visible. The DMSO was not visible. What should I do?

yes i downloaded the extra stock and branding patch. I reinstalled it several times. I think it is due to some geopcdx files that were not installed properly by the installer.

It might be worth reinstalling again using Windows Safe Mode in case your AV software may be stopping a complete install.
This is how your RSC Class 465 should look if the AP EP is installed correctly we are talking about the AP Class 465 Enhancement Pack?

I have it the same way, but with the second picture in the NSE_Class465_AP folder, should be in the "DMSO", "TSO", and "TOSL" one Geopcdx file with a .bin file?

    pH -
Strange you have the DMSO bin files outside the DMSO folder?

So does that mean that the .bin file (class465_dmso.bin) should actually be in the DMSO folder?

That is where it is on my Class 465
Have a look to see where it is in the Default version of the 465

EDIT - I realise I only have the 465 Sound Pack and not the Enhancement pack but it should not affect where the geos are

Was just going to say that. AP has two addons for the 465 the Enhancement Pack and the Sound Pack. Which one does the OP have? I only have the sound pack.

but where should I put all the .bin files? These are the files that are outside of the DMSO folder. Which of them do I have to do where? https://ibb.co/C7CPTdy

Which Class 465 pack do you have as there are two of them. 465 enhancement pack or the 465 sound pack or both. You haven't said.

    Have you tried contacting AP?
You will get a quick reply from them instead of hoping somebody here might have the answer

Try installing outside of TS say to your desktop then manually putting the files into TS. That is a recommended solution from AP if files are not going where they should go automatically. Before you manually move them across check the files to make sure that they are all there.

ok i haven't tried that yet, but i can try. I didn't do it because I wasn't so sure whether it could be installed outside of the Railworks folder.

I have had some AP packs not install properly and that is what I have done as recommended by AP as I have already mentioned. :)

Those files seem to be installed to be outside all the AP variants, they appear to be "common" files as the DMSO, TSO and TSOL ALL only contain a single GeoPcDx file in every AP variant. My DMSO variant works fine in all the AP provided EP. DMSO AP files.PNG
Exactly the same in TSO, TSOL variants with the appropriate GeoPcDx file in each folder.
It will be interesting to see what Richard says!!
    From the manual:
Not much to go wrong there! The OP should try installing via Windows in SAFE mode to be sure of a correct install!

Ok Armstrong Powerhouse answered me, and it was due to something very simple:

I deleted the .ap file from the ECML and AP Class 465 would need it. That is why the train only partially worked.

You should NOT delete any AP File.
When you do a File Verify Steam checks for these AP files if you have them Steam will do nothing.
If they are missing Steam will replace them but also delete anything in that folder

but I only deleted the .ap file to avoid heavy reloading but thanks for the information.

But by deleting the .ap file you may have actually created "heavier loading".
When TS starts it checks every DTG/RSC folder and file for "corruption" each .ap file is JUST a single check, removing the .ap file may cause a delay in the TS check procedure and will certainly not decrease loading.
TS only loads/uses an .ap file(s) when you load a route, choose a scenario and include the Assets needed. Now loading/verifying an .ap file stored as "maincontent.ap" is a single process - now remove the assets/content .ap file and TS now has up to 20,000 individual files to load/verify instead for each .ap file.

As P749 states - you should never remove an .ap file. I can't imagine Richard Armstrong recommending that you delete an ap file to make his enhancement work. What was his exact wording?

No, they told me that I need the .ap file for the enhancement pack to work. And I deleted it because, as I said, it stuttered a bit and after I deleted that, the game ran a little more smoothly.
