First of all, I apologise if anything I mention has been answered already, or suggested elsewhere. I did have a look around, but unless I am blind, I didn't see anything. Secondly, yes, this is a bit of broad thread I am starting here, but I figured since most of the things here relate to the preserved collection content, I'd keep it to the one thread, instead of opening several. So I have a few things to say, mostly about PIS, but I thought I'd also include a thing or two about destination displays and First Great Western on GWE. Passenger Information Screens Firstly, I am very excited to see the introduction of PIS into TSW. While a very small feature to come TSW, it will really add to the immersion. So firstly, would it be possible to see PIS come to preserved collection? In one of the Q&A streams I think it was, they were saying that in the future, it will be fairly easy to add the PIS upcoming routes, with the only hurdle being the creation of artwork for the route. So using that logic, would it be possible to see it come to preserved collection? After all, the idea (which I am really supportive of) is that the content is preserved, but not forgotten/abandoned. And while a small feature, I'm sure many people would appreciate it. The same goes for will we see PIS come to Köln Aachen as well? Secondly, I was watching the Bakerloo PS4 stream tonight, and they were saying how the PIS isn't in real time (which we know about and it's not too big of a deal), but when you are late, your train stays on the board, but without a time. This is just a bit of a suggestion for UK PIS (since I don't have knowledge of other PIS systems around the world), but maybe have it so that when the counter finishes counting down (5, 4, 3 mins ect.), have it so that is changes to On Time for the next minute or so, and then after that, it changes to Delayed. There is many pros to having it work like this, as you have the realism of it saying you are delayed when you are, but there isn't the need to have the game perform complex ETA calculations. Another pro to this is that the AI will not be late, so if you are being a passenger on the line, you won't see a train delayed anyway (yes, that could become an issue if MP comes to fruition later, but that could be a cross the bridge when you get to it scenario). Destination Displays So again, would it be possible for destination displays to come to preserved collection? The ground work has already been laid now for most LED based destination displays. The only hurdles here would be, again, the artwork of the destination displays, and also some of the logic of a specific train's destination display. Like with PIS, I am sure many people would highly appreciate this (maybe even more so than PIS) and it would once again add to the immersion. First Great Western Now I know this is much more unrelated when compared to the first points, but would it be possible to see the First Great Western liveries come to GWE? Now, this is arguably one of the easier of the three here, because we know that this feature was being worked on at some point when one of the beta releases was accidentally pushed as an update many months ago, which included the First Great Western Class 43 HST. Again, I am sure many people would highly appreciate it, especially me as you may be able to tell from the profile pic XD, and from what I can guess at least, most, if not all, the artwork must already be completed for it now since we saw at least the one livery in that accidental beta build. So yeah, that is all I have to say now. I am extremely hyped for the release of TSW 2 tomorrow, and incredibly hyped for many of the DLCs on the roadmap (especially Faversham High Speed! XD). I hope many of you agree here on some, if not all the points I have made, and I look forward to hearing some feedback on my suggestions here.
Also, asking for a friend here who can't get to computer right now (I also agree though), would we possibly be able to see blinking amber signals on GWE in the future? This is one of the more "game breaking" things here for all of us people who love detail and UK trains, since it's a major part of the UK railway signalling.
