Xbox are still updating their stores to correctly reflect the discount on the standard edition. We expect this to be complete by 00:01 UTC on August 20th. It is up to you to decide whether or not to wait for the discount to be applied.

Is there a problem for those who bought the original game on disc. Will TSW2020 be recognised for TSW2 discount and downloading from Microsoft either direct or vis xbox store?
He said 8 AM on the stream. I know it was the PS4 version being played but I don't believe he stated a different time for Xbox on there.
so that means it won't be 00:01 UTC for xbox like in your original post or am i wrong if so can you change that to stop confusion
Standard edition was £24.99 (no discount) deluxe was £33.99 with 15% off but with only 50 minutes left lol I was grabbing the deluxe anyways as I wanted east coastway tbh

It also says only 48 minutes left on the Deluxe Edition discount. A new discount may activate after this one ends (hopefully on standard also).
Game not showing at all at 12.10am on Microsoft store? When searching for Train sim world 2 or TSW2 results in no results found! Perhaps it is midnight tonight?
I dont think even they know tbh download for standard is only 13.7 gig so I'd wait until morning as it won't take long

What he said was if you already own East Coastway in TSW2020, don’t buy the deluxe edition of TSW2, just buy the normal version. You get East Coastway as a free add-on if you already have it.
Hi DTG Protagonist, just to report. Just brought standard. 15 % off is working and searching for east coast way in the store tsw 2 east coast way as I brought it prior is showing up as 'you own this' install to your device. All looks good from here. That is for the UK Xbox store by the way to be clear.
Same here in GMT+1 (€) All the preserved collection contents (until now 5: 3 routes and 2 locos) are in download under TSW2 (root)
East Coastway works but you have to download it again. Anyone having problems with an ultra noisy fan and their X1X shutting down completely when playing East Coastway?... It's done it twice out of two attempts to play it. Not liking this at all.
TSW2 couldn't even get released without drama,I still have at least a hour to wait to try and buy it,and i'm depressed before even getting to try it.
Checked last night and no discount... BUT didn't have to wait until 08:00. Just checked before going to work and price AFTER clicking on product detail is shown as £21.24 15% off for 15 days
Thanks for the link but managed to buy it at 3pm uk time, now started the installation at 7.25pm. My Xbox has a load of TSW2020 updates queued so could take all day!!!
Perhaps its just me - or did anyone else have a difficult time to find a way to purchase the game? I could not (and still cannot) see the game to purchase through the store on the XBox console or my laptop by searching Train Sim World 2, TSW, TSW2 or even just Trains! Thanks so much to L89 for the link - which was the only way I managed to purchase the game!
I just searched for Train Sim World 2 in the xbox store and it came up, with the discount already applied.
You were not alone. I did the same. The first time just after midnight I scrolled down and it was all TSW2020 Stuff, so gave up and went to bed. I woke in the night and found the same but this time I scrolled further and found it right at the bottom of the list after all the TSW2020 add ons. I would have thought Microsoft search was better than it is. Never mind all’s well that ends well, I suppose!!!
