Just loaded the game tonight and noticed 2 of the routes that originally came with Train Sim World are no longer showing- Rapid Transit and NEC New York Why have they been removed from the game?
for me the haven't check the add ons page on game and apps for the game and see if they are there. i think they did change though what routes came in the tsw 2020 edition though from the original tsw game
You are right. Those routes aren't included with TSW 2020. One theory could be they are playing on Game Pass and forgot to have the original TSW disc inserted. Restarting the console may fix the issue if it still does not recognise them digital or disc.
I always have the original disc in. I bought the game when it first came out - before it changed to TSW 2020. Only thing I can think of is that I did download the LIRR route free via Game Pass and got all the Acheivements I could. I have removed the LIRR route and that is when I noticed the original routes missing.
do they appear in the add ons and check they have been installed aswell or don't for some reason need an update
That is odd. So in the Xbox home where you manage the game does it not show the route as installed or in the ready to install section? I have LIRR installed and NEC still shows. Updates for add-ons show there too.
In the Manage section it shows the following installed - Train Sim World - This is the original version on disk before known as TSW 2020 Northeast Corridor New York Rapid Transport Northern TransPennine - Bought West Somerset Railway - Bought Peninsula Corridor: San Fransisco - San Jose - Bought In the Ready to Install section - Long Island RailRoad Main Spessart Bahn I installed LIRR as my son got the Ultimate Game Pass so the routes were free but wasnt that keen on LIRR so uninstalled. I then installed Main Spessart Bahn route last week but uninstalled on Tuesday 18/8/20 as I got all the achievements for the route. That is when I noticed NEC New York and Rapid Transport not available in the game Basically now when i insert the disk and load the game the only routes available for me to play are GWE and the 3 routes I have bought as add-ons - Northern Transpennine, West Somerset and Peninsula Corridor. I have just notice tho today when I loaded the game after the intro movie and the main screen showed it now says Founders Edition??? Just strange that it says i have routes installed but when in the game they are not there.
It reverts back to the Founders Edition when you do not have all of the DLC installed for some reason, but would go back to the correct edition with all DLC installed. I have noticed this several times when booting up the game whilst numerous DLCs are still updating.
That splash screen is glitchy. I got the Collector's Edition and it says Digital Deluxe even with all content installed. All my content works thankfully.
Definitely not a ploy. We're using the secret tactic of trying to make something you want to buy. We're tracking reports of this happening and are investigating.
Did you sort the issue out? I have another game on Xbox where I have some content on disc but have a digital version of the main game. It too no longer recognises disc licences on add-ons requiring a disc until the Xbox is turned off and back on. This is due to opening the game before putting the disc in. Even if you quit the game then put the disc in it still requires the console to be restarted to get disc content to show up.
Why bump this thread and dtg aren't going to fix anything in tsw 2020 because they now only look at issues in tsw2. Especially that tsw is now left gamepass
