I stumbled across this yesterday and after testing last night, can confirm that the rwp patches do what they say :) I often wondered why someone hadn't already done this. I have to wonder why DTG don't upgrade the existing routes to feature this!?

    Anyways, without further ado:

    https://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/scenery.html

    - East Coast Main Line: London to Peterborough
    - Edinburgh to Glasgow (Tunnel Patch)
    - Falmouth Branch (RSC Version)
    - Falmouth Branch (Longbow GWR Version)
    - GWML (Oxford to Paddington)
    - Isle Of Wight
    - London to Brighton
    - Port Road
    - SDJR (Bath Templecombe)
    - Settle to Carlisle V7 (JetGriff)
    - Settle to Carlisle (RSC Version)
    - WCML North
    - The Woodhead Line

For anyone feeling a bit jaded over TSW2, these little tunnel occlusion patches are just the trick to put some wind in your sails again, so head down to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for this all to blow over.

Massive thanks go to Fodda for making these.

I too love the Tube (The Paris metro is awesome too... love the emu sets on rubber tyres, mad as toast, well worth an all zone day ticket just to ride around and listen to random buskers from time to time). However, I'm just not caving in this time, I can still taste Oakville CN in the back of my throat.

WCML 5.3, VDL and Metropolitan routes will do just fine for me on TS.

These tunnel occlusion patches are ace though and have renewed my interest in all of these routes. Enjoy :)

On the older routes, when you go into a long dark tunnel, the cab stays lit just the same as if you were outside.

By applying these rwp patches, you add natural cab darkness when in those tunnels. You use utilities.exe within your railworks folder to install them (package manager > Install). When untilities.exe tells you you already have these assets installed, just click "Ok" and it will install.

These patches are little nuggets of gold.

I install them the lazy way by extracting the rwp file and just copying the Content folder to Railworks

And this is the picture from the file showing the difference
