Love TSW2 so far but am I the only one disappointed that the preserved collection only have the classic controller setup. No zoom and no opening doors with the d-pad ect. What about us who wants to play without HUD so we could zoom in to check the current speed? Why not let the preserved collections have some TSW2 options now they can be played within TSW2? For me is "just" the old route with a new HUD. Am I the only one that feels disappointed?

    Cheers

I’ve only used the MP36 and 377 but the updated control scheme worked in both of those.

It doesn’t work for me. It keeps saying I must use the classic control scheme (PS4 Pro).

I’m disappointed I have to use the classic controls for the preserved collection. I don’t want to have to remember two different control systems - especially for the doors.

Just loaded east coast way on my PS4 and can't use immersion controls either, no idea how some users are able to use them and some not, methinks they might be confusing the new controls with the new hud.

Timetable/service mode appears to be allowed to use either set of controls, but not scenarios or tutorials, just tested across ECW, HRR and PC...

Yeah heard it on the steam tonight. I’m happy that we can use the Immersion control setting in service mode :)

I prefer the classic controls so I'm good on all routes :)

The trick is to make sure you have the default control scheme set before you choose a route

For TSW 2 routes, make sure your controller scheme is set to Immersion
For the Preserved Collections routes, make sure your control scheme is set to Classic

This way you'll be able to select whichever control scheme you want once you're in the driver's seat

If you start up Bakerloo with Classic set as the control scheme, you'll get that popup saying it requires immersion and you won't be able to select classic once the game loads
If you startup Bakerloo with Immersion as the control scheme, you'll be able to switch to classic if you want once the game starts.

    Hope this helps
