Annoying Bell

Is there a button for quick STOP ringing the bell on American freight trains, TSW 2020 plus button on D pad worked perfectly.

I run xbox, just plug in a £5.99 keyboard. All sorted.

 

This is another function that the immersion control scheme doesn’t cover. Particularly annoying on SPG in the GP38 I found as the bell sound speeds up and slows down with cab sway.

To solve both these issues I reverted to Classic controls and stopped the bell immediately after sounding the horn like the old way. Then when I discovered the horn sound was also speeding up and slowing down, I stopped using the horn. Sand Patch is a nice route though, so it’s not all bad.

There is a button in the cab to turn off the bell

 

didn't know there used to be a shortcut tbh lol as posted above just use the button in the cab, easier to find now the textures and resolution are improved

 

Yes I know that one thanks but when you are on the outer camera you have to go back inside, its easier the old way, D pad plus button.

 

You can use a keyboard on console, it improves the experience tenfold

 

I found it silly to that if you hit B to leave the map or even the pause menu it hits the stupid alerter button every time, it's so annoying lol
