Tsw2 With Tsw2020 Installed Question

Hopefully a simple question here, but when the time comes to actually install TSW2, do we need to leave TSW2020 installed in order for the preserved collection to get installed with it? Or can we go ahead and remove TSW2020 ahead of time if we don't plan to play it?

 

I believe it's linked up to either your store account or to DTG. So you don't need to keep TSW2020 installed.

Can someone confirm it's safe to uninstall the 'old' tsw ? I don't have room for both right now, and would hate to uninstall some other game for no reason if I don't have to.

Also are there any save game/config files that need to be backed up? Will they even be compatible between these 2 games?

 

Both, as in another forum, it's linked to the store so doesn't need TSW2020 installed

When you access these DLC from within TSW 2 you will lose all progress and be starting them again from the beginning.

You do not need TSW1 installed to get the DLC in TSW2.

 

Just tried tsw2. Ok, so I'm supposed to just forget about masteries?! Like it never even existed. Bye bye all those hours spent grinding
