Tsw2: Route Introduction Progress Not Saving

Even though I have completed the Introduction on Bakerloo and it shows as checked...if I restart the game and go to Bakerloo it auto launches into the Introduction again. Restarted game and it does the same thing....presumably this happens for all the routes, but I haven't tested

Anyone else ?

 

Lots of users from what I have seen. Didn't do it to me tonight though so strange it's not happening every time I start the game

 

I'm not sure if it is related.....but every time I launch TSW2, I also get the "Train SIm World 2 is out today" welcome message from DTG before I can get to the main menu...I'm sure that is only meant to appear on the 1st launch.

It seems certain aspects of the game are not 'saving'

 

For me, the progress was saved after I played the next one.​

 

OK, I think I know what causes it.

There is a setting "auto load journeys" which needs to be turned off. Even though I turned it off the 1st time I ran the game, it switched itself back on again somehow

 

Also "Run as Administrator" helps.

 

I always delete the default desktop icon & send the 'TS2Prototype-Win64-Shipping.exe' to the desktop as a new shortcut that's running the game as admin.

I was having issues where default game settings in the first menu wouldn't stick after reboot.
