PC Tsw2: Game Forceloads Journey Mode After Selecting Route (not Tutorial)

Hey everyone,

Although I'm quite content with TSW2 so far, there is one thing that continues to happen that annoys me quite a bit that I'd like to bring to your attention.
Whenever I've just booted up TSW2, the first time I select a route, the game immediately loads up journey mode. When I then exit and return to main menu it functions normally again, asking whether I'd like to continue journey, explore, or tools.
These are not the tutorials, which I've all gone through and finished, and this specifically happens every first time I select a route after booting up.

Xbox user here, I was literally writing a post on this when I saw yours pop up. It only happens to me on Sand Patch but gee its annoying! At first I thought it wanted me to complete all the tutorials, which I did. Fired up the game again and it loads into some yard service.

Go to settings and turn off automatically load journeys

 

You need to turn off auto-load journeys in your game settings.

 

Thank you both very much, that fixed it! It also seemed to save my other game settings which it wasn't previously.

even with journey mode off it still starts the journey mode like im a new player `?
how i can stop that ?

 

In options, are you sure "Auto-Load Journeys" is turned off?
3rd option from the bottom in the game section of settings.
It doesn't do that with me at least and it shouldn't than.
Perhaps otherwise verify integrity through steam?
Right-click on game on steam -> properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game files

That's all I can think of right now
